2019 Winter Concert: A Magical Tale of Winter Holidays

It’s almost that time of year…the holidays! Come join us for a night full of festive tunes, featuring awesome pieces like Orpheus in the Underworld, themes from The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Nutcracker, and more!

Tickets are available at Frist and online: $5/student, $8/public, student events eligible (FREE!). To buy online tickets, go to and type “wind ensemble” in the “Search Events” field. The first result should be this concert!

Join us for the Winter Concert at Richardson Auditorium (Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall), which is our first concert of the year! We will be playing a variety of classical and modern music for all to enjoy.

Join us for our free outdoor “Concert Under the Stars” on the Frist Lawns and hear some of your favorite themes from film and TV scores such as “The Lion King” and “Phantom of the Opera”. There will be free food and great music for a wonderful night!

Then come celebrate with us at Spring Concert at Richardson Auditorium (Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall), which marks the culmination of another great year of musical exploration at the Princeton University Wind Ensemble. We will be playing a wide variety of new pieces from, as well as reprising some of the popular tunes from Concert Under the Stars.

There will be a reception after the concert with free food! Tickets are available at Frist Center or at the door and are Passport to the Arts eligible.
