Who Can Join?
Any current Princeton University student, faculty, or staff member who plays a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument can and is encouraged to join the Princeton University Wind Ensemble.
Fall Auditions
PUWE Auditions for the 2026-2027 Academic Year will take place from August 31st to September 3rd, 2026. All audition materials and guidelines may be found at this link.
All auditionees for the 2026-2027 Academic Year are required to register for an audition slot by Sunday, August 30th, 2026 via this link. Please contact puwe@princeton.edu with any questions or concerns.

Princeton Preview Activities Fair
If you have just been accepted to Princeton, you will be invited to attend “Princeton Preview,” a program offered on three weekends in April designed to give incoming first-years a taste of life as a Princeton student. During Preview, an activities fair is held for incoming students, usually in Dillon Gym. Representatives will be present at the PUWE table to answer all of your questions and, if you are interested, sign you up to receive audition information in the fall.
