Princeton University Wind Ensemble

The Princeton University Wind Ensemble is Princeton University's only concert band. Dedicated to providing a space for wind and percussion musicians on campus to perform wind band repertoire at a high level, PUWE provides performance opportunities to over 80 undergraduate and graduate musicians.

Featuring canonical wind band repertoire, Broadway and film scores, innovative contemporary works, and student compositions, PUWE performs a diverse array of pieces, with a particular emphasis on works by underrepresented composers. Each season, our repertoire is programmed by our student Music Director, with guidance from our professional conductor.

The Princeton University Wind Ensemble is proud to be under the direction of Joe Bongiovi, director of the acclaimed PHS Studio Band and the Philadelphia Jazz Orchestra.
